Time to Travel!
Vacation is a lot of peoples favorite time of the year, because well who wouldn't enjoy time off from their daily life which usually includes, stress, school, jobs and so much more. Vacation is great because its all about fun and relaxation. However, because there are so many options of where to travel or to stay its hard to find what will best fit YOU. Here I will give ideas and options for you to get ideas!
Amusement Parks:
Amusement Parks are always a great choice for a family because its definitely one of the most diverse experiences. For example, parks have all different types of rides according to if a person like heights, fast rides, slow rides, or even simulations. Parks that have diverse rides, are like Six Flags and Dorney Park. Dorney and Six flags are especially good to visit for a one day thing ,because there usually about $70 per person, and have locations all around the states like NJ, Fl, TX, CA and more. They both are known for having epic rides, for children, adults and teens. Furthermore parks like Disney and Universal are especially good for families since they have so much more than rides. These two parks have a certain history of being a family fun park due to its welcoming and uplifting experience. These places are nice to visit for 3 or 4 consecutive days in a row since their park is so huge, which usually costs about $115 per person. In addition, these parks have predominant characters, songs and a wide history that really makes up this great experience.
Camping:
Camping is one of the best vacations, anyone can go on even if it doesn't seem like it's glamorous or anything. Camping allows people to go out of their comfort zone and experience nature like they usually never do. I mean how many of us ever gather around a campfire or swing on a rope into a lake? See, most of us, especially today, are not getting out as much because of all the electronics now, so camping allows us to do this. Going to camp grounds is also open to many things like, swimming, playing sports, hiking, adventuring and even viewing beautiful sights. Camp grounds are very common in places all over the US, including upstate New York, Pennsylvania and even Florida. One of my favorite places I have been was the Adirondacks in New York. This camp ground was much more than some tents and a fire. It had ropes courses, tree climbing, lakes, and teens clubs. It was such a fun place to visit because it suited everyone in my family, especially the ones who didn't want to be out in the woods all the time. One thing that was also very nice, was that this wasn't really an expensive trip at all which was nice because I come from a big family and we only had to pay a little less than $100 per person .
Tropical Vacations:
Visiting tropical islands are always a great choice, especially for families who just want pure relaxation or honeymoons for newly weds. Islands offer nothing but clear blue water and warm hot white sand. Feeling that first splash of water on your skin after tanning under a palm tree is one of the greatest feelings in the world. Islands also have great restaurants right on the resort and ones right off the island as well. When my family and I visited the Bahamas years ago it was so beautiful there. They had the clearest water I had ever seen, the hottest sun I could imagine and it was right around $300 per person. However, one thing that many people don't realize when visiting an island, is that these places have so much culture. The environment you're in when you're their is so much different from where you live, and it's very refreshing. When I went, my father and I took a walk on the outer edges of the island and there were hair braiding and anklet making stands just there. I remember when I got my hair braided the woman had done it so fast, and it stayed in for 3 months...you don't see that everyday in New Jersey.Theres different people of all races speaking different languages, and its so nice because you realize theres so much more than just your bubble you live in everyday.
Cruisin':
Cruises, are one my favorite things to do for vacation because it literally has anything and everything. First off, with cruises you usually pay a certain price which then means you are able to get any of the accommodations when on the cruise without paying extra or anything. That means your on the ship you don't need to worry about paying for lunch, dinner, ice cream, drinks or pretty much anything, which is great because it relieves a lot of stress. Next, cruises usually dock in a certain place like before when we talked about visiting islands, many cruises dock to these islands or resorts for a day or two. That means you're getting the fun of being on a cruise ship and visiting a tropical island all in one. Next, cruises have many adventures in store because many have pools, rock climbing and even water slides. So it's like a water park in the middle of the ocean. Lastly, whats great about cruises when taking the whole family, is that many of them offer teen or kids clubs. This means when mom and dad want a romantic dinner at sea....alone, the kids will be hanging with others their age enjoying fun activities like arts and crafts, late swims and mini golf. One cruise line I think is exceptional in price and has a diverse selection of activities like the ones listed above, is the Carnival Cruise Line. I went on this once and it was so beautiful and fancy but still had such a welcoming and fun environment within. It was also so great for my family and I because it had all of these luxuries but was still under right under $600 per person, which compared to to other cruises is a STEAL!
